The inaugural NC CCIM Collegiate Commercial Real Estate Competition offers students a unique, hands-on opportunity to step into the world of commercial real estate investing. Designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world application, this competition challenges student teams to analyze a commercial property or portfolio, develop a comprehensive underwriting model, and present their investment strategy to a panel of experienced local CRE leaders and industry experts. Throughout the competition, participants will gain practical exposure to key industry skills including market research, financial analysis, investment underwriting, and asset management. Beyond technical experience, students will also build confidence in professional presentation and decision-making in a competitive, real-world setting. This dynamic event is designed to cultivate the next generation of commercial real estate professionals while connecting them directly with leaders across North Carolina’s CRE community.
