North Carolina CCIM Chapter Helps Spark Historic International Partnership in Jamaica

Greensboro, NC — May 1, 2026 — The North Carolina CCIM Chapter proudly celebrates a historic milestone for the commercial real estate industry following the official launch of a groundbreaking international partnership on April 30, 2026, in Kingston, Jamaica. 

What began as a forward-looking idea within the North Carolina CCIM Chapter—to bring CCIM courses to Jamaica—has evolved into a transformative global agreement between the CCIM Institute and the Real Estate Board of Jamaica. This collaboration marks the first CCIM Institute partnership directly aligned with a national government in the Caribbean, setting a new precedent for international engagement and professional education in the region.

The partnership establishes a globally aligned framework for commercial real estate education, training, and certification in Jamaica, with broader implications for the Caribbean market. By elevating professional standards and expanding access to CCIM’s industry-leading curriculum, the initiative is expected to strengthen market confidence and position Jamaica as a regional hub for commercial real estate excellence.
